Their applications extend from daily life to various aspects of society and even cutting-edge technologies. They show particularly broad application prospects in areas such as artificial teeth, artificial bones, and artificial joints. These ceramics, primarily used within the human body, are termed &#8220;bioceramics.&#8221; This field represents a subject capable of generating significant social and economic benefits globally. The production of high-performance bioceramics often requires raw materials in the form of fine, uniform, and high-purity powders. As biocer\u00e2micas foram utilizadas clinicamente pela primeira vez no s\u00e9culo XVIII. Em 1808, foram preparados os primeiros dentes de porcelana para incrusta\u00e7\u00f5es dent\u00e1rias. Em 1871, a hidroxiapatita foi sintetizada artificialmente e, em 1971, foi desenvolvida e promovida com sucesso para uso cl\u00ednico como material cer\u00e2mico substituto \u00f3sseo.
