Definities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Een primair deeltje verwijst naar de kleinste onafhankelijke, afzonderlijke eenheid met een regelmatige of onregelmatige geometrische vorm, gevormd door nucleatie en groei binnen een specifiek reactiesysteem (zoals verbranding, precipitatie of dampfasesynthese). Het kan worden opgevat als de &quot;inherente&quot;, meest fundamentele individuele eenheid die tijdens het ontstaansproces van het materiaal wordt gevormd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Een secundair agglomeraat verwijst naar een complexer samengesteld deeltje dat is gevormd door de samenvoeging van meerdere primaire deeltjes die door een bepaalde kracht bij elkaar worden gehouden. Het is niet &quot;aangeboren&quot;, maar wordt &quot;na de geboorte&quot; gevormd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">II. Verschillen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De twee verschillen aanzienlijk qua structuur en samenstelling, vormingsmechanisme, bindingskrachten, stabiliteit en invloed op de prestaties. De specifieke verschillen worden weergegeven in de onderstaande tabel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">III. At high magnification, it can reveal that agglomerates are composed of many smaller, well-defined primary particles. Primary particles often exhibit regular geometric shapes (e.g., spherical, cubic), while agglomerates have irregular shapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Transmissie-elektronenmicroscopie (TEM): Biedt een hogere resolutie dan SEM, waardoor de roosterlijnen en de interne structuur van primaire deeltjes duidelijker zichtbaar zijn en hun deeltjesgrootte nauwkeurig kan worden gemeten. Het wordt beschouwd als de gouden standaard voor het onderscheiden van nanogrote primaire deeltjes van hun agglomeraten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusie:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In elektronenmicroscopische beelden worden eenheden met duidelijke grenzen en interne continu\u00efteit ge\u00efdentificeerd als primaire deeltjes. Structuren die zijn opgebouwd uit meerdere van dergelijke eenheden die losjes of dicht op elkaar gepakt zijn, worden beschouwd als secundaire agglomeraten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2) Technieken voor deeltjesgrootteanalyse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Methoden:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Laserdiffractie-deeltjesgrootteanalysator: Deze methode meet de hydrodynamische diameter van deeltjes in een medium (meestal een vloeistof) door middel van lichtverstrooiing. Het meet de schijnbare grootte van agglomeraten in een gedispergeerde toestand. Als de door laserdiffractie gemeten grootte significant groter is dan de primaire deeltjesgrootte die met elektronenmicroscopie is waargenomen, duidt dit op aanzienlijke secundaire agglomeratie van het monster in water of oplosmiddel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 R\u00f6ntgen diffractie (XRD) analyseert de verbreding van diffractiepieken van kristallieten. Onderzoekers\/wij kunnen de Scherrer-vergelijking op deze metingen toepassen om de kristallietgrootte van primaire deeltjes te berekenen. Deze kristallietgrootte weerspiegelt het coherente verstrooiingsdomein binnen het kristal en blijft onaangetast door fysieke agglomeratie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusie:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het vergelijken van de kristallietgrootte berekend met r\u00f6ntgendiffractie (XRD) met de agglomeratiegrootte gemeten met laserdiffractie is een klassieke methode om onderscheid te maken tussen de twee. Als ze dicht bij elkaar liggen, duidt dit op een goede dispersie, waarbij het materiaal voornamelijk bestaat uit primaire deeltjes. Als de agglomeratiegrootte veel groter is dan de kristallietgrootte, wijst dit op de aanwezigheid van ernstige secundaire agglomeratie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3) Analyse van het specifieke oppervlak (BET-methode)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Methode:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De BET-methode bepaalt het specifieke oppervlak van deeltjes door gasadsorptie te meten. Met deze methode kan de theoretische primaire deeltjesgrootte voor bolvormige deeltjes worden berekend met behulp van de formule. <em>Deeltjesgrootte \u2248 6 \/ (Dichtheid \u00d7 Specifiek oppervlak)<\/em>, onder de aanname dat alle deeltjes onafhankelijke bollen zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusie:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vergelijk de deeltjesgrootte berekend met de BET-methode met de resultaten van elektronenmicroscopie of XRD. Als de met BET bepaalde grootte kleiner is, kan dit wijzen op de aanwezigheid van pori\u00ebn of een ruw oppervlak van de deeltjes. Als de grootte dicht bij de primaire deeltjesgrootte ligt die met andere methoden is gemeten, bevestigen beide methoden elkaar. Als de werkelijke grootte gemeten met een deeltjesgrootteanalysator veel groter is dan de met BET bepaalde waarde, bewijst dit wederom de aanwezigheid van agglomeratie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4) Dispersie- en ultrasone testen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Methode:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Verspreid het poedermonster in een geschikt oplosmiddel en observeer na bezinking. Snelle bezinking waarbij een harde pellet ontstaat, duidt doorgaans op sterke agglomeratie. Behandel de suspensie vervolgens met ultrasone trillingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusie:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als de deeltjesgrootte, gemeten met laserdiffractie, na ultrasone behandeling significant afneemt en de oorspronkelijke deeltjesgrootte, bepaald met elektronenmicroscopie of XRD, benadert, wijst dit erop dat er eerder sprake is geweest van zwakke, door externe kracht breekbare secundaire agglomeratie.
