Een zeef van 500 mesh heeft een opening van ongeveer 30 \u00b5m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hier is een veelgebruikte conversietabel tussen maaswijdte en deeltjesgrootte. Wat betekenen D10, D50 en D90?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Deeltjesgrootte wordt gedefinieerd als de ruimtelijke grootte die een deeltje inneemt. Het groottebereik kan vari\u00ebren van subnanometer tot enkele duizenden micrometers. De grootte van het deeltje wordt &quot;korrelgrootte&quot; genoemd, ook wel &quot;deeltjesgrootte&quot; of &quot;diameter&quot; genoemd. Als een deeltje zich gedraagt als een bol van een bepaalde grootte, is die diameter de equivalente deeltjesgrootte. Anders is het systeem polydispers en is een grootteverdelingstabel nodig.
