Het kan bijvoorbeeld de slijtvastheid en krasbestendigheid van de coatingfilm verbeteren. Het kan zelfs het uitzakken van de verf tijdens het egaliseren verbeteren. Bovendien kan het de corrosiewerende eigenschappen van poedercoatings versterken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bij het selecteren van materialen is het essentieel om rekening te houden met factoren zoals dichtheid, dispersieprestaties en distributie. Over het algemeen geldt: hoe hoger de dichtheid, hoe lager de dekking van de poedercoating. Grote deeltjes hebben doorgaans een betere spreiding dan kleine deeltjes. Er moeten chemische kleurstoffen worden gebruikt om reacties met bepaalde componenten van de poederformule, zoals pigmenten, te voorkomen. De kleur van de kleurstof moet wit zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Veel voorkomende materialen die in poedercoatings worden gebruikt, zijn onder meer calciumcarbonaat, zwavelzuurkinetiek, talkpoeder, micapoeder, kaolien, silica en wollastoniet. Het natuurlijke product wordt barietpoeder genoemd, terwijl het synthetische product bekend staat als neergeslagen bariumsulfaat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"592\" height=\"324\" src=\"https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Barium-Sulfate-Powder.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14700\" style=\"width:696px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Barium-Sulfate-Powder.webp 592w, https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Barium-Sulfate-Powder-300x164.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Barium-Sulfate-Powder-18x10.webp 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Bij poedercoatings kan neergeslagen bariumsulfaat de egalisatie en het glansbehoud van de coatings verbeteren. Het heeft een goede compatibiliteit met alle pigmenten. Het helpt de poedercoating tijdens het spuiten de ideale laagdikte te bereiken, wat leidt tot een hoog poedercoatingspercentage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barietpoeder wordt voornamelijk gebruikt in industri\u00eble primers en tussencoatings voor auto&#039;s, waarbij een hoge coatingsterkte, een hoog vulvermogen en een hoge chemische inertheid vereist zijn. Het wordt ook gebruikt in topcoats die een hogere glans nodig hebben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In latexverf kan fijn barietpoeder werken als een doorschijnend wit pigment vanwege de hoge brekingsindex (1,637). Het kan titaniumdioxide in de verf gedeeltelijk vervangen. Ultrafijn bariumsulfaat is ideaal voor poedercoatings vanwege het grote vulvermogen, de goede helderheid, uitstekende egalisatie, sterk glansbehoud en compatibiliteit met alle kleurstoffen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toepassing van micapoeder in poedercoatings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Micapoeder bestaat uit complexe silicaten met deeltjes in de vorm van schilfers. Het biedt uitstekende hittebestendigheid, evenals weerstand tegen zuren en logen. Micapoeder be\u00efnvloedt de smeltvloeibaarheid van poedercoatings en wordt doorgaans gebruikt in temperatuurbestendige en isolerende coatings. Het kan ook dienen als vulmiddel voor textuurpoeder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Mica-Powder.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14704\" style=\"width:693px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Mica-Powder.webp 500w, https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Mica-Powder-300x300.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Mica-Powder-100x100.webp 100w, https:\/\/www.epicmicron.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Mica-Powder-12x12.webp 12w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Van de verschillende soorten mica heeft sericiet een chemische structuur die lijkt op kaolien. Het combineert veel eigenschappen van zowel mica als kleimineralen. Bij gebruik in coatings kan sericiet de weersbestendigheid, waterbestendigheid, hechting en sterkte van de coatingfilm aanzienlijk verbeteren. Het verbetert ook het uiterlijk van de coating. Kleurstofdeeltjes kunnen gemakkelijk in de tussenlagen van sericietpoeder terechtkomen, waardoor de kleur langdurig behouden blijft zonder te vervagen. Bovendien heeft sericietpoeder anti-algen- en schimmelwerende eigenschappen. Daarom is sericietpoeder een uitstekend multifunctioneel vulmiddel voor coatings met een hoge kosten-prestatieverhouding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toepassing van kaolien in poedercoatings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaolien in poedercoatings kan de thixotropie en anti-bezinkingseigenschappen verbeteren. Gecalcineerde klei heeft geen invloed op de reologische eigenschappen, maar kan een mat effect geven, de dekking verhogen en de witheid verbeteren, vergelijkbaar met talkpoeder. Over het algemeen heeft kaolien een hoge waterabsorptie en is het niet geschikt voor het verbeteren van de thixotropie van coatings of het bereiden van hydrofobe coatings. De deeltjesgrootte van kaolienproducten varieert van 0,2 tot 1 \u03bcm. Kaolien met een grotere deeltjesgrootte heeft een lagere waterabsorptie en een beter matterend effect. Over het algemeen heeft gecalcineerd kaolien een hogere olieabsorptie, opaciteit, porositeit, hardheid en witheid vergeleken met met water gewassen kaolien.
