Ada kesalahpahaman umum bahwa perilaku serbuk dapat dijelaskan hanya dengan memahami sifat alirnya. Sifat kimia dan fisik partikel tidak berubah dalam keadaan ini. Jumlah udara dan tekanan kontak antara partikellah yang menyebabkan aliran berbeda secara signifikan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Pengaruh Variabel Eksternal<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Seperti yang ditunjukkan pada contoh sebelumnya, serbuk berperilaku sangat berbeda saat diangin-anginkan, dilonggarkan, atau dipadatkan. Beberapa serbuk sangat sensitif terhadap variabel ini, sementara yang lain tidak. Beberapa serbuk dapat mengalir dengan baik saat diangin-anginkan dan dilonggarkan, tetapi menyebabkan masalah saat dipadatkan (seperti toner). Serbuk lain mungkin memiliki aliran yang wajar (baik) saat dilonggarkan, dan tidak banyak berpengaruh saat dipadatkan, tetapi memiliki peningkatan aliran yang nyata saat diangin-anginkan (seperti serbuk keramik, lihat video). Namun, perilaku serbuk juga dipengaruhi oleh kecepatan pemrosesan, seperti kecepatan pencampuran atau kecepatan pengisian saluran, serta faktor lain seperti tingkat kelembapan sekitar dan waktu penyimpanan. Selanjutnya, mengukur respons serbuk terhadap berbagai variabel eksternal dapat memberikan wawasan tentang mengapa serbuk berperilaku dengan cara tertentu dan memberikan peluang untuk mengoptimalkan efisiensi formulasi dan produksi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Pengaruh Sifat Partikel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain variabel eksternal, ada banyak lagi sifat partikel yang memengaruhi perilaku serbuk lepas. Partikel itu kompleks, dan ada terlalu banyak parameter untuk menggambarkannya secara lengkap. Ukuran partikel dan <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Particle-size_distribution\">distribusi ukuran<\/a> sering dipertimbangkan, dan kedua parameter ini masih penting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akan tetapi, ada banyak sifat partikel lain yang memengaruhi perilaku serbuk secara keseluruhan. Beberapa dapat diukur secara langsung, sementara yang lain lebih sulit untuk diukur. Namun, semuanya dapat memengaruhi cara serbuk berperilaku. Mengingat kompleksitas dan keragaman sifat partikel dan variabel eksternal, memprediksi perilaku serbuk menggunakan metode matematika dasar sangatlah sulit, jika tidak berada di luar kemampuan kita
