El rango de tama\u00f1o puede ir desde subnan\u00f3metros hasta varios miles de micras. El tama\u00f1o de la part\u00edcula se denomina &quot;tama\u00f1o de grano&quot;, tambi\u00e9n conocido como &quot;tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula&quot; o &quot;di\u00e1metro&quot;. Si una part\u00edcula se comporta como una esfera de cierto tama\u00f1o, ese di\u00e1metro es el tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula equivalente.
